Quality Meeting For July 2025
1. Incoming Material Quality
The overall defect rate for July’s incoming materials was 2.1%, marking a 1.49 percentage point increase compared to June. This upward trend highlights areas for improvement in supplier quality control.
2. Summary of Material Defects
Various issues surfaced in incoming components during July. These defects elevate risks in production and may cause delays in final delivery. We've begun sorting them by type and root cause for closer action planning.
3. Finished Goods Inventory
A steady flow of production was maintained, with completed units being reviewed and added to inventory following inspections. The data reinforces our ongoing commitment to quality verification at dispatch.
4. After-Sales Repairs
In July, 14 repair cases were recorded post-sale, encompassing all returns and warranty claims. Addressing these repair requests efficiently remains a top priority.
5. Customer Feedback
There were 3 instances of customer feedback during the month. While not a surge, each comment is tracked diligently to ensure improvements and maintain trust.
Summary & Forward Strategy
The rise in incoming defect rate is a clear indicator for action. Strengthening incoming inspections and engaging suppliers to enhance their QA processes can help curb this trend. Leveraging insights from defect typology, we’ll launch targeted corrective measures to minimize recurrence. Consistent management of after-sales repairs and customer feedback shows resilience, but also underscores the importance of early defects prevention. As always, our guiding principles remain: people-first, quality-first approach, attention to detail, and continuous improvement.
Thank you for your efforts—let’s unite and move forward together.
